Extremely soft.
No regrets!
Incredibly soft comfortable leather!
Play for hours with these straps
High quality material!
Highly recommended!
The best straps available.
This is the fourth strap I've bought from Italia, there're truly a great product at a very reasonable price! I like the design, the functionality, the flexibility of color choices and the quality. Great strap and a great company!
I have several of their straps, all of which are great. The color of this is gorgeous and is a great complement to the guitar I bought it for (rose gold Ibanez electric nylon string, not the TOD model). Absolutely worth it, and I very much like being able to buy direct from the company.
It might not be the fanciest strap, but it's made with good materials and a beautiful colour that goes nicely with my acoustic. Plus the company was kind enough when asked to ship a couple of leather strips for tying the strap to my guitar's headstock.
The leather looks and feels like very high quality material. I have used other more expensive leather straps in the past, which start out very stiff. They were ok eventually, but took a long time to break in. The Italia straps are soft, supple, and comfortable right out of the box. The colors are deep and rich. I have 4 of these now in different colors. Just what I was looking for in a strap. They are holding up well. Thanks.
Well made and feel great!
The strap is very nice, would give 5 stars if the holes were easier to work with. Almost damaged my strap posts when removing the strap. Although it is not listed on this website, it takes 10 - 12 days to receive your straps as they are custom made. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend these straps to anyone.
Thanks guy's!! Where can I post a review ?? Super soft and thick cowhide on these straps that are made to order. I love the smell of the leather and feel is real comfortable. I've purchased four so far, probably get a couple more!! And yes I'd like another $50 coupon, I know I'll be ordering more!!
I love well made leather products and I consider myself to be fairly well experienced when it comes to buying high quality leather goods. It's very well made and the leather feels great and the wine color is beautiful. I also have one in blue. I only had it for a few weeks but I can't wait to see what it looks and feels like as it ages. I have the 2 inch versions and I'll get a 4 inch strap when I decide to start playing the bass.
If the smell of these straps when you open the package isn’t enough, you will like the quality of them, I promise.
I bought my first couple of Italia Straps in 2006 on e-bay. They have been my go to ever since. These truly are straps for life. Since (mostly) shifting from guitar to bass, I really appreciate how the 4" straps spread the weight on my shoulder and they tend to stay in place, although I don't have instruments with neck dive issues. I bought the strap featured in this review specifically for the Sterling (by MM) SUB Stingray 5HH pictured here. The Black and Cognac really looks good on it. The leather is so substantial and yet, incredibly supple. I generally use the 4" straps on my basses due to the weight, but I decided to use a 2.5" Rossa/Black strap for my Fender MIM 2021 75th Anniversary Player Jazz Bass and it works great on this somewhat lighter instrument. When I purchased my Washburn Force 4 ABT bass on e-bay in 2006, I bought a 4" Suede Italia Strap for it and they have been together ever since. I would definitely consider getting another suede strap if they were ever available again.
I have bought a few 4” Italia straps over the years and am very happy with them. Comfortable, durable and I like the look/the shape/how the leather is cut. :D
These straps are very comfortable and durable. I absolutely love them. I have 2, both on Hamer 12 strings. They look great. And what can I say they’re Italian!
I purchased my first Italiastrap about 4 years ago. Since then I have ordered a strap for every bass I use playing live. That’s 6 straps total. At this point I won’t use a different brand. When I buy a new instrument, I also buy a new Italiastrap!
Never have I ever had a bad experience with italia straps
Even a 5 Kilo (11lbs)-Bass can be played for more than 2 Hours without breaking your back... NICE
love leather straps
Everything is great about this strap. The softness\suppleness of the leather is fantastic. The only caveat I would mention to potential customers…and something I will absolutely consider the next time is that I will order the LONGER strap.
I am quite tall…but the standard length is quite close to being too short for me.
Next time, I am paying the extra amount and getting the longer strap.
Other than that caveat, the straps are fantastic.
Simply the best leather straps you will ever find.
Wish I had discovered these guys sooner
Top notch quality in every way…

My favorite strap! The quality is tops and very comfortable
