Upon receipt when the strap was uncoiled there was a cracking noise which I assume to be bad glue between the main strap and leather back.
Not much more needs to be said. Oh, they smell good too.

I bought the chocolate-caramel and black-cognac 2.5" Elite Series straps, and they're beautiful. Very comfortable, nice texture, and the colors look even better in person. I particularly like the splash of color from the cognac back, which I've got on a matte black Ibanez Xiphos. Definitely recommend them!
