These straps are beyond what you'd expect, quality-wise and the customer service is as good as the straps. They genuinely under-promise and over deliver. My only suggestion is to buy the long version no matter your height. The standard length is just barely long enough and I'm just barely average (5'7").
I've been using Italia's straps since 2005ish when I bought my first one from their eBay store. They are all I use with my basses.
I bought this one because I wanted a bit more grippy of a back. It looks and feels great with my '59 Burst Sadowsky PJ-5.

I picked up this 4" wide dark brown backed Chocolate strap (long length) to use with one of my basses. I figured that being 4" wide it would distribute the weight of the bass on my shoulders. Well, it did. And it made a big difference. The strap has now found it's way to and lives with one of my acoustic guitars and it is perfect there as well. Very comfortable strap. I think it is time to get another 4" strap, or a few, for some other of my acoustic guitars.
These are the nicest, most comfortable straps out there for the price. You could spend twice as much and not beat the quality of these straps.
I purchased two straps, one for me, one for a son in law. Ten years later, still as beautiful as day one. Undoubtedly best straps in the business!
