Elite Series: 4 Inch Wide Leather Backed Guitar Straps

I bought my first couple of Italia Straps in 2006 on e-bay. They have been my go to ever since. These truly are straps for life. Since (mostly) shifting from guitar to bass, I really appreciate how the 4" straps spread the weight on my shoulder and they tend to stay in place, although I don't have instruments with neck dive issues. I bought the strap featured in this review specifically for the Sterling (by MM) SUB Stingray 5HH pictured here. The Black and Cognac really looks good on it. The leather is so substantial and yet, incredibly supple. I generally use the 4" straps on my basses due to the weight, but I decided to use a 2.5" Rossa/Black strap for my Fender MIM 2021 75th Anniversary Player Jazz Bass and it works great on this somewhat lighter instrument. When I purchased my Washburn Force 4 ABT bass on e-bay in 2006, I bought a 4" Suede Italia Strap for it and they have been together ever since. I would definitely consider getting another suede strap if they were ever available again.

I’m highly satisfied with my 4” wide Elite bass strap from Italia Straps. It makes my basses feel much lighter! The leather is durable yet flexible so the strap feels broken-in already, and it looks classy, too.

Some basses seem to require a few more inches in length than even the usual “long” straps and the folks at Italia Straps were extra nice in making me this wonderful leather strap. Like all their straps, it is comfortable and beautiful. It truly adds to the pleasure of playing and practicing.

I bought the extra long model but it turns out it’s just a longer tail the strap itself isn’t any longer and isn’t longer enough. I feel this is very misleading. The quality is good but I feel let down and mislead particularly for a strap of this price

These straps are the best investment if you play for extended periods or multiple sets. The wide strap distributes the weight of heavier instruments and the quality and appearance of these straps is apparent over the many years that I've been using them. I highly recommend these straps!

Supports even the heaviest basses!

Had this second Italia 4" Strap purchased for me, by my significant other as a Holiday gift, because I hinted about the quality of my prior purchase from Italia Strap. Got it and it was just as great as the first. Never expected anything less. The Holidays are quickly approaching and the hinting about the $' Elite Series,(Chocolate/Black), as my next purchase is already in the works. Satisfactory and quality is way beyond expectations every time. Product ages well and gets comfy more and more with each use. Supports my Bass like no other
